Sipchem announces Resignation of H.E Eng Ahmad Al-Ohali

Reference to the Custodian of Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud orders issued on 23 March 2019, to appoint Eng. Ahmad Al-Ohali as Governor of the General Authority for Military Industries at the rank of Minister.
Saudi International Petrochemical Company (Sipchem) announces the resignation of the Vice Chairman of Board of Directors H.E. Eng. Ahmad Al-Ohali, on 24 March 2019. The Board of Directors approved the resignation today, 24 March 2019 and be valid from the date of the resolution.
The Board of Directors also approved the appointment of Eng. Abdullah bin Saif Al-Saadoon as acting Chief Executive Officer of Sipchem starting from March 24, 2019.
The Board of Directors congratulated H.E. Eng. Ahmad Al-Ohali on this royal trust and expressed his thanks and appreciation for his outstanding efforts and significant contributions during his tenure as CEO since its establishment.
It is worth mentioning that Eng. Abdullah Saif Al-Saadoon graduated from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Mineral in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. After his graduation, he worked with the Saline Water Conversion Corporation, then he moved to work with SABIC, where he held a number of leadership positions.
Eng. Al-Saadoon joined Sipchem in 2001. He participated in several major projects carried out by the company during the period of its establishment. He took over the position of President, Operations and Manufacturing. During his tenure, he oversees the company's transformation in several sectors including IT, Human Resources and Supply Chain, as well as under his Board chairmanship and Board membership a number of Sipchem's Affiliates.
