Mr. MAHMOUD SALEH F. AL-THEEB
General Manager, Acetyls Complex Operations
 Following his graduation in Chemical Engineering with Honors from King Fahad University of Petroleum and Minerals, Mr. Al-Theeb joined Saudi Petrochemical Company (Sadaf) in 1994 as a Process Engineer.
In 2004, Mr. Al-Theeb left Sadaf and joined International Methanol Company, an affiliate of Sipchem as Assistant General Manager – Operations. He successfully managed safe commissioning and start-up and the plant went on stream during the end of the year 2004, in an unprecedented record project execution period without any major safety incident.
Mr. Al-Theeb is presently involved in the ambitious expansion of Sipchem’s petrochemical complex in Jubail Industrial City, to establish a world scale acetyls complex as General Manager - Operations.
He also chaired Sipchem Safety Advisory Committee besides being the Secretary to the Board of Directors for International Acetyl Company Limited, International Vinyl Acetate Company Limited and United Industrial Gases Company Limited. |
