Mr. ABDULLAH SAIF AL-SAADOON
President, IAC, IVAC and UIGC
 Mr. Abdullah S. Al-Saadoon is a graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) in Dhahran, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 1980.
Following his graduation at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, he joined Saline Water Conservation Corporation (SWCC) and have had worked in various technical assignments in Jubail and Al-Khobar Desalination and Power Plants.
He left SWCC in mid of 1987 and joined National Methanol Company (IBN SINA) an affiliate of Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC). In his 15 years of service with IBN SINA, he progressed into several technical and management positions.
He left IBN SINA in 2001 and joined Saudi International Petrochemical Company (SIPCHEM) and became one of the key players in the setting up of Sipchem’s Methanol Project execution. He was also instrumental in the successful safe commissioning and start-up of the Methanol Project.
Mr. Al-Saadoon is currently involved in another Sipchem Petrochemical Complex Project in Jubail Industrial City to establish a world scale Acetyls complex named Jubail Acetyls Complex (JAC) over which he is the President. |
