Mr. STEVEN J. FUNK
General Manager, IMC Operations
 Mr. Funk graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Utah. His work experience includes thirty years in the chemical industry in a variety of technical, engineering and operations management positions.
Prior to joining Sipchem, Steve worked as an Operations Manager both in Texas and also in Saudi Arabia for National Methanol Company, a SABIC affiliate. In addition to his operations experience he has worked in a variety of key management positions on several major petrochemical projects from conceptual design to plant start-up.
Steve joined Sipchem in 2003 working on the methanol project for International Methanol Company. He then led the initial development of the Sipchem Maintenance and Technical Services Department.
Mr. Funk is now General Manager - Operations with responsibility for operations of International Methanol Company (IMC) and Gulf Advanced Chemicals Industries Company (GACIC). |
