At Sipchem, we are committed to the philosophy that all accidents and incidents are preventable. Zero accidents and zero incidents is our ultimate aim. We encourage a culture of safety both on and off the job site, by promoting a pro-active approach. The management team is accountable for preventing both incidents and accidents. It also has a duty to investigate all incidents and accidents which occur on the premises, as well as to reinforce safe acts and to correct unsafe acts promptly. We expect our employees to be totally committed to the safety of both themselves and of their co-workers. We all have a responsibility to report all safety incidents immediately, including near misses. Safe working is a condition of employment at Sipchem, and ongoing training is essential for safe work practice.
